Brenton Smith is the Vice President of Asia Pacific and Japan for BMC Software, a global leader in IT solutions for the digital enterprise. In this role, Brenton is responsible for developing, managing, and executing a comprehensive sales and services strategy across Asia Pacific to drive market growth and sales success across the region.

A proven software company leader, Brenton has worked with a diverse range of technology firms in senior leadership roles, steering the most technical cloud and SaaS growth projects and crafting strategies for multiproduct, multi-go-to-market development. Over his career, Brenton has led organizations such as Software AG, Symantec, and CA Technologies in Australia and New Zealand, and Symantec.cloud and Quest Software across APJ.

Brenton holds a Bachelor of Business in accounting from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia.
