Dave joined BMC in 2022 as the head of Research and Development for the mainframe product team. His current responsibility covers over 250+ existing mainframe products as well as driving research into the uses of AI, DevOps, platform simplification and workload automation. Prior to his current role, Dave was with IBM for 30 years, most recently being the head of z/OS development, new workloads and CICS. Dave has spent most of his career on the mainframe platform since graduating from Sheffield Hallam University in the UK.
