Kevin Smith is Area Vice President of the of the Americas for the Solution Sales Group at BMC Software. He has responsibility for the Intelligent Z Optimization & Transformation (IZOT) portfolio of products including mainframe DevOps, ITOM and Security solutions. His primary focus is to align field execution with product strategy to drive growth. Kevin brings more than 20 years of experience building and leading high-performance sales teams along with developing go-to market strategies that result in exceptional customer experiences.

Kevin joined BMC in 2006 and has been promoted to roles with increasing responsibility, including Best Practices, leading ZSolution’s North American new product specialists as well as the Strategic East sales team.

Kevin holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Sam Houston State University.
