Pietro Delai is responsible for managing the analyst team from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and other Latin American countries for Cloud, Software and Services.

He has a team of Senior Analysts based in Mexico, Peru, Chile, Brazil and USA (Miami). With the team, he manages continuously updated studies for understanding priorities, decision criteria, brand perceptions of the decision takers on technologies like security, analytics, AI, private and public cloud, and managed services. With the holistic view for covering demand and offer side of those technologies, guidance and recommendations are built and presented to the market.

Pietro has been at IDC since 2013 leading research and consulting for Enterprise (hardware, software, and services) and Telecom markets in Brazil.

He has over three decades of IT experience. For nearly 20 years he was at the consumption side of IT and OT, developing or buying enterprise software, hardware, and services for large companies. He also held management positions in Logistics and Quality areas. After that, for 12 years he moved to the supply side of technology as channel and partner for some tech vendors, on positions like CTO and Chief Engineer.
