Maurice Groeneveld is Global Vice President Z Optimization and Transformation at BMC. After completing his studies at the Technical University in Tilburg he worked for Digital Equipment in Amsterdam as a Strategic Account Manager for the Chemical Industry. From 1991 to 1994 he worked for the Dutch Application Development and Integration Company, Uniface. After the acquisition of Uniface by Compuware, Maurice Groeneveld was responsible for International Business Development between 1995 and 1998. Within Compuware, which provided solutions for the full application development life cycle, as of 1999, he managed many different countries and regions, initially as Vice President Northern Europe. Later, from 2005 to 2009, in his function as a Vice President Central Europe he was responsible for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and countries in Eastern Europe. Beginning in 2011, his role became Vice President EMEA and when in 2012 the Asia Pacific region was added to his responsibility, he became the sole responsible for Compuware’s software solution portfolio in EMEA and APAC. Since the acquisition and integration by BMC Software, Maurice Groeneveld has been responsible for the worldwide sales of the BMC Compuware mainframe DevOps solution portfolio, and beginning in 2022 his responsibility was extended to the complete BMC mainframe solution portfolio.
